Unlocking Luke’s Voice   3 comments

This page was started in order to assist in funding the various therapies that are required to help Luke speak.  We also want others to learn more about Childhood Apraxia of Speech.  It is our hope that we can help parents of special needs children find answers to the many questions that they have.  It is our prayer that Luke’s voice will be unlocked, soon.

  1. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported The Unlocking Luke’s Voice fundraiser sponsored by Quota Club International of Valdosta, Georgia. The outpouring of donations and purchases from the yard sale was overwhelming. Thanks again for your support and prayers. Keep them coming!

PS Luke said 7 spontaneous word approximations this weekend!!!

  2. Hey is rachael Peeples again. I’m frustrated and upset that people and insurance Companies do not understand what apraxia is and that my daughter does need the help requested and that she also needs the computer, iPad and three more times a week in speech. We were told that we could get the computer went to the meeting and did all the paper work and then today august 17 we got a letter of denial because of her apraxia and her age. All these people don’t know my child and what she needs. I wish I had a million dollars and just could go pay for the computer and iPad and everything else my child with a disability needs. Sorry for unloading all this on the site but didn’t have anywhere else to turn. Thanks for listening. Rachael peeples

  3. Feel free to add me as a friend on Facebook. I am touched and saddened by this story. I will pray for this little boy and the rest of your family. God bless you. I pray for a cure.
